    Formerly Action on Hearing Loss. UK-wide charity supporting people with hearing loss and tinnitus, with information, helplines and advocacy. Useful if your tinnitus comes alongside hearing loss.

    Searchable directory of qualified audiologists across the UK. Use this to find a private audiologist for a faster audiogram, hearing aid trial or tinnitus assessment if your NHS waiting list is long.

    The professional body for ear, nose and throat surgeons in the UK. Use their directory to find an ENT consultant if you have pulsatile, asymmetric or sudden-onset tinnitus and need a medical workup.

    The leading US tinnitus charity. Funds research, runs support groups, and publishes one of the best free tinnitus libraries online. Useful internationally for evidence-based articles even if you are not in the US.

    US-wide 24/7 free and confidential support for anyone in mental health distress. Dial 988 from any US phone. If your tinnitus distress is becoming a crisis, this is the right number.

    Australia's national tinnitus charity. Provides information, support groups, and links to qualified Australian audiologists. The first stop for tinnitus support in Australia.

Europe / International

  • Tinnitus Hub

    tinnitus

    An international online community of people with tinnitus, with active forums covering all aspects of the condition. Useful for peer support and lived-experience perspectives, though as with any forum, treat individual claims of cures with scepticism.
