It is normal to feel rage at your tinnitus. The unfairness of it, the constancy of it, the way it crashes into every quiet moment. You are allowed to feel that.
But notice what anger does to the loop. Frustration is a high-arousal state. High arousal raises the gain on the limbic system, which sharpens perception of the threat signal, which is the tinnitus. So anger at the sound makes the sound louder, which fuels more anger. It is the cleanest negative feedback loop in this condition.
A short script to interrupt it. When you feel the anger spike, say to yourself, out loud if you can, "This sound is annoying and it is not dangerous." Then let your shoulders drop, let your jaw unclench, and take one slow breath out.
You are not pretending to be fine. You are starving the loop of fuel.
